• 3% Hydrogen Peroxide

• A disposable toothbrush

1. Make a degreasing paste by mixing 1 tablespoon of vinegar, 3 tablespoons of baking soda, and ½ tablespoon of lemon juice into a small bowl.

2. Give it a good stir until it becomes a thick paste.

3. Take a thick sponge and rub the paste on the backsplash and its surrounding grouts.

4. Use a circular motion to degrease your marble backsplash.

5. Once done, rinse your sponge and wipe the backsplash with clean water.

6. If there’re still some stains on it, take the microfiber cloth or paper towel.

7. Moisten it with the 3% hydrogen peroxide solution.

8. Now place the cloth/towel on the stained areas of the backsplash and leave it like that for about 5-10 minutes.

9. After then, remove the cloth/towel and check if the stains have gone or not.

10. If not, then re-apply the cloth/towel like the previous step.

11. If you see that its surrounding grouts have discoloured, use the disposable toothbrush to scrub them.

17. Now rinse the backsplash with clean water and dry it with a clean rag.
